One thing many forget to think about are the inside of their cabinets. For most residential kitchens there are two products I recommend using for the interior of cabinets, Melamine or Pre-finished plywood. Both are excellent choices because they are easy to clean. Basic white melamine is usually the least expensive. For a premium, melamine is available in different colors or simulated wood grain. Pre-finished plywood is usually made with a real wood veneer and comes with a clear finish applied at the factory.
