We can build just about any kind of cabinet you can think of. The standard “face-frame” cabinet is a fine choice although “Frameless” also known as “European” or as I like to call them Full Access Cabinets are what we specialize in. Why? Because it’s a better value for my customer. It’s simply the best cabinets that I know of and I’ve been a cabinet maker since 1982.
Why do I call them Full Access Cabinets? Because when you open a door or drawer you have full access to what’s inside. There’s no face-frame to block access on the top, bottom or sides of the opening. There’s no center divider between a pair of doors blocking your access to what’s inside. Shelves and roll-out’s are always easily adjustable up and down.
What does that mean to the average consumer?
- Have you ever had a certain utensil that gets stuck behind the lip of the face-frame, say a spatula in your most frequently used utensil drawer? It can be very frustrating and it is possible to damage the utensils, the drawer or cabinet box. Full access cabinet’s solve that problem because there is no face-frame to get hung up on. As an added bonus and because the cabinet is frame-less, the drawer box’s are typically taller and wider within the same size footprint.
- Have you ever had to turn the cereal box sideways to get it in and out of the cabinet? It can be very frustrating when the package of flour falls out when you’re reaching for your cereal. Full access cabinets reduce kitchen spills because again, there is no face frame in the way, no center divider, and shelves/roll-outs are easily adjustable in height.
- With Full Access Cabinets you can gain up to 30-50% more space inside the cabinet using the same footprint. In other words, it maximizes the space you have and your accessibility to it (great for small kitchens).
If those aren’t enough reasons for you, just ask your friends who already have Full Access Cabinets. There’s plenty of them around the North Valley since Mandina’s has been serving this area since 1984.
